Basic Information
1. Changing Pipe Direction: A 90° elbow is designed to make a significant turn in the direction of a pipe. It allows for a 90-degree change in the flow path
2. Optimizing Fluid Flow: The 90° elbow helps to guide the fluid flow smoothly through the turn, reducing turbulence and minimizing energy loss.
3. Adapting to Installation Requirements: The 90° elbow is versatile and can be used in a variety of applications, from residential plumbing systems to industrial piping.
4. Enhancing System Flexibility: PPR material, which is commonly used for 90° elbows, offers excellent durability and flexibility. It can withstand various environmental conditions, including temperature fluctuations and chemical exposure.

Q&A
When installing pipes, the ambient temperature at the construction site should be above 3℃. Installation is not recommended when the temperature is below 3℃.
Threaded connections and flanged connections are suitable for connecting PP-R pipes with metal pipes or metal fittings. Threaded connections are used for small diameters, and flanged connections are used for large diameters. When dn≤40, threaded connections are used, such as internal thread tees, external thread straight pipes, etc.; when 40≤dn.
Is it allowed to interchange hot and cold water pipes during construction? - POLYGON S3.2 and S2.5 series PP-R pipes can be used as cold water pipes, but S5 and S4 series pipes are not allowed to be used as hot water pipes.
Why do PP-R pipes not breed bacteria or scale?
PP-R material is a random copolymer of polypropylene, which is a low-polarity saturated fatty hydrocarbon long-chain polymer. Its product, PPR pipes, has a low surface tension, so water cannot wet the pipe wall. Even at high temperatures, water cannot wet the surface of the pipe. PP-R material itself is extremely difficult to serve as food for bacteria, so bacteria find it hard to attach and grow on the surface of the pipe, and calcium and magnesium ions in water also find it difficult to accumulate and scale on the pipe wall.
The special material for PP-R pipes is a small amount of ethylene and propylene, which are randomly copolymerized by gas-phase copolymerization, a chemical modification, different from the physical modification of adding other additives. Its molecular long chain is composed of only C and H elements, without any toxic elements, and does not release harmful substances. After complete combustion, it only produces carbon dioxide and water, and the waste can be recycled and reused. Therefore, PP-R pipes are non-toxic and odorless, and belong to green building materials.
